Mariachi & Folklórico Festival

For those of you who were part of our 1^st, 2nd & 3rd Annual events in 2010, 2011 and 2012 we’d like to cordially invite you to return and, once again, be part of our very special festival in 2013. For those of you who were not part of the thousands of participants, competitors, and audience members last year, this is also your invitation to be an integral element in this year’s bigger-and-better get-together.

                     10/6:  Awards and closing ceremonies.

Accommodations, at very special rates, are once again being provided by the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel, currently celebrating its 87^th Anniversary as Northern Baja’s finest ocean-front hostelry.

Student Workshops, in both mariachi y baile folklórico, will be under the direct supervision of well-renowned maestros. Their staff members are being carefully selected to provide the students with the highest quality instructors at all levels from beginners to masters.

The Participant Showcase will give the aficionados in attendance a chance to see all of the students perform on the main stage immediately following the conclusion of their intensive classroom experiences.

Groups that wish to participate in The Competencia as a member  of either Team USA or Team Mexico, in either mariachi or baile folkórico should contact us immediately as we anticipate many more potential entrants than applied for last two years events. 

Saturday evening's Extravaganza will feature an outstanding line-up of award-winning talent. There will be timely announcements as our headliner's bookings are confirmed.

Finally, please note that, once again, the festival will donate 100% of its net proceeds to the benefit of Club de Niños y Niñas de Playas de Rosarito (The Boys and Girls Club of Rosarito) for the construction and continuing operation of their facility to help the at-risk children of the area achieve their full potential.

This is the one event that you won't want to miss in 2013. Just ask anyone who participated in our 1^st, 2nd and 3rd Annual events in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
